The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Southwark area from September 2026.
You will deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. The school has a strong sporting culture and encourages participation in extracurricular activities and school competitions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 & KS4
- Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
- Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs and school fixtures
- Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with department expectations
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
- Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for sport, physical activity, and student development
