Grounds Maintenance Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity – West Midlands
Maptalent are currently sourcing a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected and fast-growing landscaping contractor operating across the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is looking for long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
• General landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Litter picking and ensuring site cleanliness
• Basic planting and garden upkeep
• Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Supporting the landscaping division during seasonal downtime on new build developments (including turf laying, planting, and seeding)
Requirements:
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance
• Valid CSCS card (chainsaw licence desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Full UK driving licence
