PART TIME NIGHT SHIFTS
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
AJAX dedicated control room is seeking a reliable and proactive Control Room Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring the smooth operations of our control room services. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safety, communication, and operational efficiency across our sites.
KEY RESPONSIBiLITIES:
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other security platforms for the control room.
- Maintain clear and accurate logs of all incidents and activities.
- Coordinate with on-site security staff, management, and emergency services when required.
- Dispatch personnel where necessary and provide operational support.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are functioning correctly and report faults.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred:
- SIA Licence (CCTV)
- previous control room, security, or monitoring experience preferred but not essential (full training will be given).
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
