Humly is recruiting a Class Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across a mixed Year 5/6 class and maintaining strong classroom practice throughout the summer term.

What You’ll Be Doing

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons for a mixed Year 5/6 class

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2

Confidence delivering to mixed-age classes

Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

Ability to plan, assess, and differentiate effectively

Commitment to supporting pupil progress and attainment

Pay

Non-AWR: £120+ per day

AWR (from week 13): £168.58 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
