We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a 16‑tonne lorry, carrying out scheduled deliveries, and representing the business with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Drive a 16‑tonne Class 2 vehicle to assigned delivery locations
Attend site 3 days per week (set schedule to be confirmed)
Load the lorry when required
Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customer locations
Unload goods on arrival
Collect customer payments where applicable
Return to base and complete end‑of‑day checks
Follow all company procedures and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Working Hours
Start time: 6:30am
Finish time: typically 4pm–5pm, depending on workload
Some days may finish earlier (around 2pm) based on delivery volume
Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Clean driving licence essential
Must be reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and handle goods safely
