Our S72 team is growing, and we need practitioners who love the community feel of village nurseries. Why travel into the town centre when you can support children in your own local area?
The Reality of the Role: As a supply practitioner, you are the "Helping Hand" our partner nurseries rely on. You will jump in and support the permanent team with activities, snack times, and personal care. You might be leading a storytelling session one hour and helping with garden play the next. Your goal is to ensure the children’s routine is maintained and they are having a fantastic time learning through play.
The Qualification Bar:
Qualified Tiers: Must hold a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE).
Important Note: Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant qualifications are not suitable for these nursery-based roles.
Unqualified Tier: Candidates with nursery experience but no childcare-specific qualification are welcomed to apply for our assistant roles.
The 2025 Standard: To be counted in ratios, you must have a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate. If you don't have this yet, you must be willing to undergo the training immediately.
Why work with Nexter?
Total Flexibility: You choose the days you work. Whether you need a full-time schedule or just one or two days a week, we work around your lifestyle.
Premium Weekly Pay: We offer the highest agency rates in the region, with a transparent pay structure and a guaranteed salary review every April.
Work Close to Home: We prioritize "local-first" bookings, meaning less time spent commuting and more time in the communities that matter to you.
Diverse Experience: Build your skills by working in various settings—from high-energy city nurseries to quiet village preschools—without the burden of permanent paperwork.
Referral Rewards: Earn a £100 bonus for every qualified friend you bring into the squad once they hit their first 100 hours.
