We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable workshop in the Woking, Surrey area. Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, specialising in performance models
- Servicing vehicles and carrying out complex repairs to meet manufacturers’ standards
- Mentoring junior technicians and supporting their skill development
- Ensuring all repairs and servicing are completed to a high standard within specified timeframes
- Maintaining detailed records of work undertaken and parts used
- Keeping the workshop clean and organised
- Communicating with customers effectively, managing their expectations professionally
- Assisting with technical support and troubleshooting as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with a background in performance or luxury vehicles
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or an equivalent qualification
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, hardworking, with a positive attitude and good sense of humour
- Willingness to enhance technical skills through ongoing training
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach to technical challenges and customer service
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work
