Are you passionate about developing the AHP workforce and supporting high-quality learning environments?

We are looking for a motivated Allied Health Professional to join our AHP Education & Workforce Team, leading initiatives that support AHP staff and students across the Trust, with a particular focus on workforce development.

In this strategic, hands-on role you will design, deliver and evaluate education and workforce programmes aligned to Trust priorities. You’ll work closely with AHP leads, clinical teams, students and external partners to strengthen career pathways, placement capacity and learning culture, using quality improvement approaches to demonstrate impact.

You will:
• Lead AHP education and workforce development programmes, such as apprenticeships, support worker development and work experience.
• Provide advice on education, training and workforce planning.
• Build strong partnerships across the AHP workforce and beyond.
• Use data and feedback to drive improvement.

We’re looking for a registered AHP who is confident influencing, project managing and working across services, and who shares our commitment to learning and development. You will be based across the Trust sites as needed - including at Kingston Hospital and Teddington sites.

We offer a supportive, collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged.

If you’re excited about shaping the future AHP workforce, we’d love to hear from you.
• Lead and deliver AHP education and workforce programmes aligned with Trust strategy.
• Provide expert advice on AHP education, workforce development and best practice.
• Develop strategies to improve learning environments, education quality and workforce capacity.
• Design and deliver training, including career development programmes.
• Lead key projects such as student placements, apprenticeships and career pathways.
• Build strong partnerships with HEIs, education providers and regional/national AHP networks.
• Represent the Trust at AHP education and workforce forums.
• Support, mentor and engage AHP staff and students to promote a positive learning culture.
• Ensure quality, governance and compliance through evaluation, audits and reporting.
• Promote interprofessional learning and support simulation-based education.
• Maintain professional standards, HCPC registration and engage in ongoing CPD.
