EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) - BA5
Start: ASAP
Hours: Part‑time (Mondays & Thursdays) or Full‑time
A warm andwelcoming primary school in the BA5 areais seeking a dedicated Level 3 Qualified EYFSTeaching Assistant to join their early years team. This role is idealfor someone with strong EYFS knowledge who can support early development,learning routines, and child‑centred provision.
Role Overview
- Support learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
- Deliver small‑group and 1:1 activities focused on early literacy, communication and play‑based learning
- Assist with continuous provision, observations and child‑initiated learning
- Provide support for children with emerging SEN or additional needs
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement structured routines
- Help with classroom organisation, outdoor learning and daily transitions
Candidate Profile
- Level 3 TA or Early Years qualification (essential)
- Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum & early child development
- Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable)
- Confident, patient and nurturing approach
- Able to support communication, early phonics and play‑based learning
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
