Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant - WMS Specialist

Contract: 3‑month rollingDay Rate: £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Fully Remote

Project: Meadow Foods - D365 F&O Package Implementation

I am working with a key client who requires an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant with strong Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) expertise to support a major implementation project. You'll play a key role in solution design, requirements gathering, and ensuring the successful deployment of end‑to‑end warehouse processes within D365.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end‑to‑end D365 Warehouse Management implementations
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering, BRDs, and Fit‑Gap analysis
  • Configure and optimise core WMS processes including:
    • Inbound (ASN, receiving, putaway)
    • Outbound (picking, packing, staging, shipping)
    • Inventory management, cycle counting, replenishment & slotting
    • Return logistics
  • Work closely with operational stakeholders and technical teams
  • Provide functional leadership throughout testing, deployment, and hypercare

Required Experience

  • 12+ years implementing WMS solutions (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Strong functional knowledge across warehouse operations
  • Proven background in end‑to‑end implementation cycles
  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience beneficial (e.g., chilled, perishable, beverage, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing skills
