A well-established building services consultancy with over 50 years of industry experience is looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.
The business has built long-term client relationships across sectors including universities and healthcare, delivering projects that support decarbonisation and sustainable building design.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in a range of building services projects, working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Typical responsibilities will include:
*Mechanical building services design and calculations
*Supporting project delivery across a range of sectors
*Site visits and surveys of existing building services installations
*Preparing specifications and technical drawings for tender
*Working alongside experienced engineers and consultants within the team
This role offers excellent exposure to projects and the opportunity to develop technically within a supportive consultancy environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have:
*Experience working within the Building Services / MEP industry
*Background as a Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer, or an electrician looking to move into design
*A relevant qualification such as HNC/HND or equivalent experience
*An interest in developing within a consultancy design environment
Engineers earlier in their careers who are keen to develop their design experience are encouraged to apply.
