Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading Legal firm based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this role on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be based within one of the firm's law departments and will be responsible for providing comprehensive PA support to the Partners & Fee-earners to enable them to focus on their Core work delivering legal services.
This role would ideally suit an experienced PA from either a Legal, Corporate or Professional Services background who has first class communication skills and excellent organisation skills.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Providing comprehensive PA & high-level Administration assistance to Partners & Fee-earners in one of the law teams within the Edinburgh office - including client matter administration, operational support, financial coordination, and workflow management
* Anticipating the upcoming support needs of the Partner & the wider team, identifying requirements in advance & ensuring that Partners are fully equipped with required information & documentation
* Carrying out comprehensive diary management, ensuring that all meetings, deadlines & commitments are accurately recorded & follow up
* Acting as first point of contact for Partners, managing their inboxes, dealing with enquiries as appropriate & escalating where required
* Ensuring all documents, correspondence, compliance records & AML/onboarding documentation are maintained accurately and filed correctly
* Full meeting management including preparation of meeting packs & distributing to attendees beforehand, room bookings, tech setup where needed, hospitality prep & arranging of travel & accommodation
* Providing financial administration support including billing, Cashroom activity, fee letter preparation, bank transfer requests & ensuring all are processed accurately
* Various ad hoc PA duties as required
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Extensive previous PA or EA experience preferably from within a Legal, corporate or Professional Services setting - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* First class communication skills, both written & verbal
* Excellent organisation skills & excellent attention to detail - with the ability to prioritise & complete a sometimes very busy workload effectively
* Solid IT skills including a good level of competence with the MS Office suite and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
* Complete confidentiality in your work as you will be required to handle sensitive client information as part of your role.
