We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to support the effective coordination and delivery of professional and clinical placements within the Clinical Placements Team.
The postholder will manage the administration and coordination of practice placements, ensuring robust, efficient and compliant processes in line with professional, regulatory and institutional requirements. Working closely with NHS colleagues, academic staff, students and external partners across specific programmes of study, or supporting a particular function within the team, the role will support high-quality placement experiences and contribute to ongoing service improvement. The ability to build effective working relationships and develop a sound understanding of academic programmes and regulations is essential.
The role will be predominantly based at the Singleton Campus, with occasional working at the Carmarthen Campus as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all aspects of practice placement administration to a high professional standard and will bring substantial administrative experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex processes with accuracy, discretion and professionalism. Experience of working in higher education or another regulated environment is desirable.
The post sits within a high-performing and fast-paced Clinical Placements Team. The postholder will be highly organised and proactive, with strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines, anticipating and resolving issues as they arise.
