Crynodeb
We are a dynamic not-for-profit organisation and Centre, running counselling, psychotherapy and professional training, personal development courses and a range of therapy practices to enhance mental and psychological wellbeing.
A small, dynamic and busy charity, our Centre is open all year, excluding public Bank Holidays and term-break weekends. We are located a short walk from Kings Cross, St Pancras and Camden stations in London, close to Regents Canal.
We are looking for an experienced part-time cleaner/ caretaker to work evenings, 2 to 3 days during the week, to ensure our Centre is kept clean and tidy to a high standard, secure and well-maintained.
This is a permanent role, and applicants must be available to work at minimum 3 evenings per week (core hours 9pm - 1am) during term times throughout the year. Exact dates and hours to be discussed upon application. We are a close friendly team and the role requires:
• Previous experience in cleaning and facilities/ maintenance and lone working
• Excellent attention to detail, reliability, teamwork with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work 3 weekday evenings, with additional availability/ flexibility for additional work .
• A good level of physical fitness.
• Good level of English
• Excellent work references
• NI number and right to work in the UK
Would suit;
1. Someone with experience of lone / evening working / working in a similar environment.
2. Local Camden resident.
3. You’ll be reliable, pro-active, conscientious, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
This role is part of a job -share with our current our weekday cleaner / caretaker so has opportunity for additional shifts and cover during the year. This mainly lone-working role requiring regular lifting so a good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and manage equipment is a must.
