Overview
Our client has a new opportunity for an Employment Specialist. This role will involving delivering community based employability service, providing tailored one to one support to help individuals move closer to or into sustainable work. The role includes job search guidance, collaboration with local employers and partner organisations, and managing a caseload of around 25 clients at any one time.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide one to one employability support including job search, applications, and interview preparation.
• Identify and address barriers to work and offer in work support to maintain employment.
• Build links with local employers and source suitable job opportunities.
• Work with partner organisations such as health services and community groups to ensure joined up support.
• Maintain accurate records and meet programme reporting requirements.
• Role requires an Enhanced DBS check. ________________________________________
Person Profile
Essential:
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Empathetic, person centred approach and ability to motivate clients.
• Good organisational and problem solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable:
• Driving licence helpful but not essential
