Working Pattern: 5 shifts over 7 days.
Shifts may include 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00, 08:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00. (Rotas are issued two weeks in advance.)

As a Security Officer & Porter with ISS, you will be at the forefront of maintaining a safe, secure, and well-organised environment.
This dual role combines exemplary security operations with essential portering responsibilities, ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone on site.
The Role
Ensure the safety and security of the site at all times, protecting people, property, and assets
Stay vigilant and proactively identify any suspicious or unsafe activity
Prevent unauthorised access and maintain control of all entry points
Conduct regular security patrols, building checks, and lock/unlock duties as required
Build positive, professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and visitors
Support with patient movement, including transporting patients in beds or wheelchairs to appointments
Assist with the movement of goods, equipment, and supplies, liaising with wards and departments when required
Deliver a high standard of service, ensuring all portering tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and with care
Maintain professionalism, communication, and reliability across both aspects of the role
About You
Previous security experience
A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
A team player with good customer service skills
New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
