Maintenance Electrician
Location: Mobile role covering Glasgow and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A facilities management provider is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join its mobile engineering team. The successful candidate will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple client sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain and repair lighting and power distribution systems.
- Carry out reactive electrical repairs and fault finding.
- Maintain building services equipment including motors, pumps, fan coil units and associated systems.
- Service and repair HVAC control panels.
- Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) where required.
- Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with client procedures and operational requirements.
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH, infection control and waste disposal procedures.
- Maintain accurate asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports.
- Identify and report follow-up works where required.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
- Report accidents, incidents or hazards in line with company procedures.
- Support other engineering and facilities staff in delivering services across sites.
- Qualified Electrician with experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation and Testing.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- AM2 Practical Skills Assessment (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence required due to the mobile nature of the role.
- Ability to obtain PVG / Disclosure clearance prior to starting.
