Crynodeb
We're seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour / Tenancy Enforcement Officer to join our social housing client on an ongoing, temporary basis, covering Neighbourhoods across Liverpool. This is a hybrid role, combining 1 fixed-day per week on site in St Helens, at least 1 day per week in Liverpool, home working and patch visits.
A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance is essential. You must also bring proven experience managing ASB and tenancy enforcement cases within the social housing sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the management of ASB cases, from early intervention through to enforcement, ensuring compliance with legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Investigate reports of ASB, nuisance, and tenancy breaches, including interviewing involved parties, gathering evidence, and maintaining detailed case notes.
- Prepare and serve legal notices, warning letters, and other enforcement documentation.
- Work collaboratively with Housing Officers, Community Safety teams, Police, Local Authorities, and other partners to deliver coordinated interventions.
- Support tenants through early‑stage issues using mediation, advice, and tailored action plans.
- Attend court hearings, multi‑agency meetings, and case conferences where required.
- Undertake regular patch visits, tenancy checks, and estate inspections to maintain visible presence within communities.
- Ensure accurate record‑keeping, risk assessments, and timely case progression from initial report to resolution.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as an ASB Officer, Tenancy Enforcement Officer, Community Safety Officer or similar role within social housing
- Strong knowledge of ASB legislation, tenancy law, enforcement processes and best-practice case management
- Confidence managing a varies caseload of low, medium and high level ASB matters
- Excellent communication, interviewing and investigation skills, with experience of gathering evidence including witness statements, preparing legal documents and presenting evidence in court
- Flexibility to work across both St Helens and Liverpool, and work independently, prioritise effectively, and maintain accurate case notes
