Driver - Ferrying/Discharge Work | Grimsby | £12.21-£14.47 per hour
GI Group UK is recruiting Drivers for ferrying and discharge operations with a leading automotive logistics client based in Grimsby.
Role Overview:
- Location: Grimsby
- Pay: £12.21 to £14.47 per hour shift dependant
- Type: ongoing, ad-hoc assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Ferrying: Relocating vehicles around the compound and transferring between compounds. No training required.
- Discharge: Driving vehicles off ships and relocating them safely within the Grimsby compound. Full training provided during the first two shifts.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (category B)
- Licence held for minimum 12 months +
- Up to 3 points on licence, subject to endorsement code
- 22 years of age and over due to insurance
- Confidence driving various vehicles (Electric, manual and automatic)
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliability and flexibility
