    • Full-time permanent position

      Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 per annum (DOE)

        The Role – Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

        You will join a close-knit team of 3 vets and 3 nurses, working across all aspects of nursing in a busy first-opinion practice. The role suits a proactive nurse who enjoys variety and is happy supporting all areas of practice life.

        Key responsibilities include:

        • Assisting in theatre and surgical procedures


        • Day patient and inpatient care


        • Running nurse clinics and consultations


        • Laboratory work and diagnostics


        • Supporting client communication and patient care


        • Occasional reception duties, including Saturday mornings


          Practice Environment

          Established clinic that has built a loyal and growing client base and places strong emphasis on communication and long-term client relationships.

          Facilities include:

          • Purpose-built, recently refitted practice


          • Separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas


          • Digital and dental radiography


          • Ultrasound imaging


          • Multi-parameter monitoring equipment


          • Dedicated nurse consulting room


            The caseload is varied, with particular interests in rabbits, ferrets and wildlife care. The practice also benefits from visiting specialists in imaging, cardiology, orthopaedics, dermatology and endoscopy, providing excellent learning opportunities.
