The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C), and 7.5 Tonne (C1) drivers for general haulage work across the UK.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
We offer day and night shifts, part‑time flexibility, and opportunities across curtain siders, refrigerated trailers, and containers.
Pay Rates
Class 1 (C+E)- Days: £14.00 per hour
- Nights: £17.50 per hour
- Days: £13.50 per hour
- Days: £13.50 per hour
⏰ Shift Information
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- No nights out required
- Part‑time hours available - perfect if you have other commitments
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1, Class 2, or 7.5T vehicles as required
- Operate curtain side, fridge, and container trailers
- Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections
- Ensure all goods are loaded and secured safely
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Follow driving laws, tachograph rules & WTD regulations
Requirements
- Valid licence for your category: C+E / C / C1
- New passes welcome
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card - mandatory for all classes including 7.5T
- Willingness to work with different trailer types
- Good communication and time‑management skills
- Professional and safety‑focused approach
