Resettlement Team Leader – HMP Bronzefield
The Resettlement Team Leader at HMP Bronzefield plays a vital role in supporting women as they transition safely and successfully from custody back into the community.Working closely with prison staff, probation teams, and external partners, this role focuses on developing coordinated pre-release plans that address housing, health, employment, family connections, and ongoing support needs.
This position ensures continuity of care for women leaving custody while strengthening partnerships across services to reduce reoffending and improve long-term outcomes.The role also contributes to the strategic delivery of the prison’s reducing reoffending strategy, supporting governance, partnership working, and data reporting related to resettlement and accommodation outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate pre-release resettlement activities, ensuring women receive appropriate support before and on the day of release
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with prison staff, probation teams, and community organisations to ensure continuity of care
Support and coordinate the Resettlement Governance Board, including agenda setting, tracking actions, and partner engagement
Work closely with the Strategic Housing Specialist to improve housing outcomes and deliver staff workshops on housing initiatives and legislation
Analyse accommodation outcome data and provide clear reports to senior leadership to support strategic discussions
Develop initiatives such as the Departure Lounge service to strengthen day-of-release support and improve resettlement outcomes

The Ideal Candidate
Experience working within criminal justice, probation, resettlement, housing, or rehabilitation services
Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple agencies
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, particularly those transitioning from custody to community settings
Knowledge of housing pathways, homelessness prevention, or accommodation support services
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple partners and priorities
Ability to analyse and present data to support strategic decision-making and service improvements
Package Description
Salary: £36346.01 + LW 3729.24 per annum
Monday – Friday
37.5 hours per week
