CMA Recruitment Group is currently supporting our Poole, Dorset client. Who is currently looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse workforce across multiple sites, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
What will the Payroll Specialist role involve?
• End-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees across weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
• Accurate processing and verification of timesheets, overtime, and payroll adjustments.
• Strong compliance knowledge, including HMRC reporting (FPS/EPS), statutory payments, and year-end payroll processes.
• Excellent attention to detail when maintaining employee records, tax codes, pensions, and deductions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to resolve payroll queries and work effectively with HR and Finance teams.
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Specialist vacancy:
• Proven experience in payroll processing with strong attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance standards.
• Excellent Excel skills and the ability to manage complex data accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Effective communication skills, approachable and professional when engaging with colleagues at all levels.
