We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers / Teaching Assistants to join our educational team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support students across various age groups, including those with special educational needs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment, fostering student development, and providing tailored support to meet individual needs. This position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about education and making a difference in young people's lives.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning across different subjects and year groups
Support classroom management and behaviour, promoting a safe and inclusive environment
Assist teachers with planning and preparing educational activities and resources
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities or autism
Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development through mentoring and tutoring
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including creative writing exercises and specialised interventions
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote collaborative learning
Contribute to the organisation of classroom activities, displays, and resources to enhance the learning environment
Requirements

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents
Passion for supporting children's development through mentoring, tutoring, and creative activities such as creative writing
Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities within a dynamic environment
Flexibility to work across various year groups as required
Relevant qualifications or training in education or special educational needs are preferred but not essential
