• Regular crop walking highlighting & recording any Pest & Disease issues
• Regular crop walking highlighting required crop management work, including husbandry jobs & harvest timing
• Regular crop walks, monitoring all settings & growing environments to ensure optimum crop health & performance at all times
• Biological control monitoring, ordering process & tracking
• Be an active part of the growing team supporting operations as required
• To ensure all work quality standards comply with company policy and all staff are managed to achieve maximum performance.
• Assist in creating spray plans and schedules ensuring crops are being sprayed at the correct time and in the correct way
• General maintenance of operating systems & infrastructure
• Along with the Glasshouse Manager, make a detailed plan of all Husbandry jobs required on a rolling weekly basis
• During Harvest, carry out regular field checks highlighting any potential issues. These will include fruit quality, harvest intervals, stage of the crop, weather conditions, fruit size & fruit presentation
• Assist the wider team in always ensuring site cleanliness & tidiness
