Are you a skilled HGV Mechanic looking for an exciting new opportunity? We require an experienced HGV Mechanic with a strong background in heavy goods vehicle maintenance and repair to work in Grantham for a family friendly, long-standing company that has a fleet of modern lorries and vans.
Working in a purpose-built, well-equipped workshop, you will be:
• Required maintain the fleet of HGV's and Vans,
• Replacing brakes pads/disks, clutches, gearboxes, drive shafts etc,
• Repair emergency breakdowns,
• Pre-MOT checks, safety inspections to DVSA standards,
• Assist with routine inspections, paperwork, and general maintenance also.
You will need experience as an HGV Mechanic and have a proven track record in fixing and maintaining HGV's, Vans, Commercial Vehicles, and solid background in mechanical work.
If you have worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Heavy Goods Mechanic, Lorry mechanic we want to hear from you.
HGV Mechanic Requirements:
• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in repair work.
• Full UK driving license.
Hours are Monday to Friday 45hrs per week 7am - 5pm with the opportunity of overtime.
