OVERVIEW
We are a small company located 4 miles North of Southwell NG22.
Your main role will be in the print room, BUT you will be exposed to all parts of the business, very soon becoming a part of a very experience and highly professional team. Some offsite work is expected.
15/20 hours per week subject to discussion
Maternity cover until December 2026 with a possible extension subject to discussion

RESPONSIBILTIES
• To prepare artwork where necessary for print.
• To undertake colour sampling tests where appropriate.
• To operate print machines from preparation, loading correct media, setting up correctly, actioning the print run and monitoring the print to ensure a successful conclusion.
• To ensure work is constantly self-checked for quality and so that any defects are spotted early in the process.
• Working with the Print and Embroidery Manager processing customers orders with respect to the printing and embroidery of customers clothing.
• Organising and handling of clothing orders.
• Setting up and digitising vector images.
• Interpret and work from design files
• Packing customer orders
• Ensuring customer orders are processed in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
• You must have a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Using heat seal machinery to place logos on workwear and clothing.
• Updating the office with order progress
• Applying company branded logos to garments in accordance with style guidelines set by each customer
• Ensuring all products despatched to our customers meet our high quality standards
• To carry out end day, weekly and monthly maintenance on the print machines and presses.


ATTRIBUTES
• A working knowledge of Corel or other graphic software
• Computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
• Experience with heat transfer printing methods.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment
• Flexible with a good approach to planning and organising activities and tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work both independently and a team player focused upon the delivery of quality and customer satisfaction
