Undertake production changes, tool changes, troubleshooting, and process optimisation ensuring machines in your cell of responsibility are operated to an acceptable standard and within the set target and costed cycle time striving for first right time manufacture (RFT). Ownership and accountability for cycle efficiency, cycle time conformance, scrap targets, material usage, changeovers, and downtime, and identifying, recommending, and implementing process changes to improve production output and quality.
Deliver agreed manufacturing targets through clear communication of works order expectations, co-ordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures in line with agreements, policies, and business derivatives.
Ensuring we operate within a safe, clean, organised, and efficient environment.
Support all company safety initiatives and safety improvement programs proactively promoting and supporting hazard awareness and the management of behaviour-based safety programs.
Deliver the production product quality, meeting both internal and external quality standards
Ensure all workstations are up to date with relevant documentation and are kept in a neat and tidy manner.
Support the continual development of employees in your work area, including identifying training needs and promoting teamwork.
Actively support Production Team Leaders/Operatives by providing technical intervention to optimise the process in the event of quality issues and to minimise waste/scrap generation.
Liaise with other teams/departments to schedule tool changes to ensure they are efficient and safe with minimum scrap and machine downtime.
Ensure all work orders are met, and the production plan is achieved.
