About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Custody Cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a Police Custody Offices, ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times.
Working within a secure and sensitive environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a consistent and high-quality cleaning service in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and sanitising custody offices, corridors, and associated areas
Ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are cleaned to a high hygiene standard
Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the site supervisor or management team
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage allocated tasks within the scheduled time
Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
Police Vetting clearance will be required for this role
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Training and Support
Full training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is fully supported and confident in carrying out the duties associated with the role.
