The college is pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for our SEND Transition and Review Team Leader role. Heading up a team of committed SEND professionals you will oversee our processes for ensuring a smooth transition into college for our High Needs students and coordinating their provision whilst they study. The team acts as the vital link between home and college to ensure each student is well prepared for their journey into adulthood. You and your team of SEND Transition and Review Officers will each manage a caseload of students and actively contribute to the creation of innovative support strategies. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and contribute significantly to our inclusive learning environment where the focus is very much on the needs and ambitions of each individual student.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect staff to share this commitment. As an employer we are also committed to promoting and protecting the physical, financial, social and mental health of all our staff. An enhanced DBS Check will be required for all the above posts, which are exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974 and related amendments. As an equal opportunities employer, Shrewsbury College welcomes applications from all sections of the community and is proud to be a Disability Confident employer. We actively encourage and support applications from disabled candidates. Where applicants meet the minimum criteria for the role, we will offer an interview whenever practicable in line with the terms of being a Disability Confident employer.
