About us:
Utility Outlet is seeking an experienced Change of Tenancy Advisor to join our growing team in our Blackpool office. This post plays a key part in supporting businesses in Change of Tenancy (COT) processes and helping customers secure the right commercial energy contracts.
You’ll be supported by our in-house data team, who supply a consistent stream of fresh leads throughout the day, allowing you to focus on what you do best.
The successful candidate will be responsible for outbound calls, managing change of tenancy enquiries, and supporting the business from initial contact through to contract setup.
You will be contacting businesses via outbound calls using our company data and leads, relating to Change of Tenancy situations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working within an outbound sales or commercial utilities role, who enjoys speaking with customers, and working within a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to businesses regarding change of tenancy scenarios.
- Identify businesses that have recently moved premises or are responsible for new energy contracts.
- Assist customers in setting up new commercial energy contracts through Utility Outlet and a range of commercial energy suppliers.
- Handle change of tenancy enquiries and documentation accurately.
- Maintain accurate records in-line with Utility Outlet processes and procedures.
- Work closely with the wider sales team, customer service and administrative teams.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with compliance and industry regulations.
Person Specification (Key: E = Essential)
- Previous experience within an Energy Broker, commercial utilities or outbound sales, with a focus on Change of Tenancy (COT) (E)
- Confident making high volumes of outbound calls (E)
- Strong Communication, closing and negotiation skills (E)
- Ability to handle objections and engage with customers effectively (E)
- Comfortable working within a KPI and target driven environment (E)
- Knowledge of the UK Energy Market (E)
Previous outbound Change of Tenancy (COT) sales experience is essential to this role. You may have gained this experience within an energy broker, commercial energy supplier or utilities sales environment.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:45am – 16:30pm
Friday: 07:45am – 15:30pm
