At Booker, we’re committed to delivering brilliant online experiences for our customers. As a QA Analyst – Web, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our websites and digital platforms are reliable, high‑quality, and ready to support the needs of thousands of customers every day.

You’ll be joining our IS Web team, who look after the infrastructure and applications behind Booker’s B2B website, mobile apps, and consumer‑facing content sites across the Group. Working closely with colleagues, third‑party partners, and the Booker Digital team, you’ll help deliver seamless online journeys and support projects that improve stability, functionality, and user experience.

You’ll be responsible for quality assurance across web projects, managing acceptance testing, supporting delivery teams, and helping ensure changes land smoothly and safely. This role suits someone who loves detail, is proactive, and enjoys collaborating to ensure great outcomes for colleagues and customers.

  • Carry out testing and quality‑assurance activities across web projects.
  • Follow change‑management and security procedures, escalating issues when needed.
  • Identify and resolve issues that impact system stability or functionality.
  • Log system enhancements, test delivered changes, and support process improvements.
  • Produce accurate reporting and support colleagues and stakeholders with guidance.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions and improvements.
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed standards.
  • Experience in a QA or technical role, ideally 2+ years.
  • Strong test‑planning skills across project lifecycles.
  • Experience with Agile or waterfall delivery and estimating testing effort.
  • Hands‑on automation experience (Java preferred, or C#/Python/JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
  • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative approach.
