Crynodeb
You will be working within a small team picking asparagus in open fields. You will be using a knife to cut a hand full of spears and putting them in your crate. The crates are carried on motored platforms that travel down the row with you. At the end of each row you will unload your trolley into a vehicle where it is weighed and then taken to the pack house. There will be some heavy lifting of 10 - 15 kg at a time. You will be expected to work in all weather conditions come rain or shine, we will provide you with appropriate clothing and PPE for field work. This work can be hard on your back as you will be bent over picking. Your daily work hours will vary dependent on the growth of the crop. Once the crop is harvested you will assist in the processing, grading and packing of the crop ready for delivery to customers. Time off will be given when we can but if the crop is growing well you will need to work. The working period is between the 20th April to the 5th of June 2026
