Job Title: Volunteer Scrum Master
Organisation:- Nurture The Children international –A UK Registered Charity dedicated to supporting children and vulnerable young people and mental health services and empowering disadvantage communities across the UK.
Location:- Fully Remote (uk based preferred for time zone and legal alignment;occasional virtual meeting.
Type:- Volunteer
Commitment:- Fexible –ideally 6-10 hours per week(adjustable around your schedule,studied or paid work.)
Duration:-minimum 6-12 months (longer term involvement encouraged and appreciated)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile project management
Location: Remote / Flexible
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Scrum Master to support our team in managing Agile processes and ensuring effective collaboration across project teams. This role is ideal for someone with Scrum experience who would like to contribute their skills to a meaningful project while gaining further leadership and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities:-
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support the team in following Agile and Scrum practices.
Help remove blockers and obstacles that may impact team productivity.
Work closely with product owners and development teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Track sprint progress and help maintain the product backlog.
Promote a collaborative and productive team environment.
Support continuous improvement of Agile processes within the team.
Requirements:-
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in an Agile environment.
Good understanding of Scrum and Agile Methodology.
Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage remote teams and coordinate tasks effectively.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to support team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications(Not Essential):-
Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
