Teacher with a specialism in EYFS
Job type: Part-time 3 days (0.6 FTE) / Permanent
Start Date: 01 September 2026
Grade: Mainscale/ Upper Scale (Inner London) + SEN allowance
Salary: £40,317 - £52,300 / £57,632 - £62,496 FTE (pro-rata)
We educate children and young people who are patients in the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. The school delivers daily creative education to children and young people aged 2 to 19 years. We aim to provide quality personalised learning experiences so that all pupils can achieve positive educational outcomes and feel valued, nurtured and respected during their time with us.
The Headteacher and governing body wish to appoint a teacher with a specialism in EYFS. You will be joining a small and committed team and contribute to the ambitious development of the school and work to achieve our aims to provide outstanding education for all our children.
The successful applicant will:
• have substantial specialist EYFS experience
• have experience working in a similar setting
• be experienced working in an all-through school setting
• be a good communicator and have ability to successfully drive-up standards of teaching across the school
• have in-depth subject knowledge and an excellent track record of pupil progress
• have experience of meeting the needs of children of mixed age and abilities and be committed to pupil improvement in a hospital setting
• be an excellent team worker, one who is able to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities to achieve desired results
• be able to work flexibly and remain solution-focused at all times
