What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work alongside our Nurture Lead, under the guidance of the SENCo. The HLTA will work closely with the Nurture Lead in the school’s Nurture Base to support vulnerable pupils who often have a high number of ACEs and present with EBSA. The successful candidate will demonstrate a trauma-informed, relational approach to working with young people and will not only be instrumental to the day-to-day running of the room and support of pupils but will also create and deliver high-quality interventions that address social, emotional and mental health needs.
The successful candidates will have recent experience of working with young people and hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
