What skills and experience we're looking for

Paradigm Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Teaching Assistant into the team at Woodbridge Road Academy from April 2026.

Typically, pupils who attend have complex communication and interaction needs which create significant barriers to learning in a mainstream environment. Many pupils are likely to have Autism Spectrum Condition and others have a profile with a similar presentation.

The Position

You will work with individual pupils and groups of pupils, under the direction of a teacher/line manager, introducing tasks, monitoring pupils’ work and using a range of strategies to support their learning. You will have the ability to draw on your skills and knowledge to respond effectively to pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

You will demonstrate a commitment to collaborative working and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.

A flexible, patient and hardworking approach to work will be required with the ability to work as part of a team.
