Equans are looking for a SHEQ Business Partner to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package. The post holder will cover the London region. The purpose of the role is to provide guidance and leadership to ensure that contracts in the Sustainable FM Services division meet their statutory safety and environment requirements and to assist contracts in delivering on responsible business initiatives. This post holder will identify and deliver solutions to improve operational safety, health, environment & quality (SHEQ) on contracts they are assigned to. Working closely, and in partnership, with the operational teams this role will ensure the EQUANS objectives & SHEQ culture are embedded within sites and contracts at a regional level. What will you deliver?Management of SHEQ across the Regional Operational area to ensure all work is undertaken to external and internal standards and guidelinesWork with the Sr SHEQ Managers to utilise and maintain adequate systems to meet all statutory and EQUANS obligationsEnsure all reportable data (Near Misses, Accidents, RIDDORs, HiPo’s, LTI’s, Incidents, LSV/MSV, Waste, Water, Energy, Social Initiatives, Volunteering etc) is recorded accurately on the contract – coach contracts, sites and individuals where requiredEstablish SHEQ Action Plans for each contract with the Contract Director/Manager – these outputs will deliver safer workplaces, improved employee engagement, culture and support our work-winning activity as models of best practiceAct on the findings of SHEQ Audits – providing guidance to the sites and feedback to SHEQ Solutions on tools, processes and systems that made be needed to improve the safety and quality of our workMentor the Safety Ambassadors within the contracts that you will be responsible forLead by example in following the company’s values and objectivesEnsure that each contract has a Training Matrix or Learning Management System to ensure that all colleagues within the area have the appropriate, Quality and H&S training, qualifications, and development. The delivery of training that impacts safety should be monitored and prioritisedLead investigations and liaise with stakeholders, ensuring detailed investigations are undertaken and full reports/ recommendations are provided – these reports will adequately identify the root causes of incidentsHold close out meetings, to ensure incidents/ investigations are fully closed and firm action plans with recommendations are presented to the Accident Incident Review boards to prevent further occurrences across the division and UKBUSupport other internal functions to ensure systems and resources are appropriate to manage the risks across the areaCoach contracts to use the Divisional Reporting tools power Bi and feedback to the central SHEQ team on what further reporting may be neededForm strategic relationships with the HSE/EHO’s and other appropriate industry forumsSupport key bids, attend tender interviews, lead competitive dialogue in the bid process to demonstrate that H&S is top the agendaProvide innovation and market leading solutions, delivering continuous improvement and data led focus on safety and responsible businessWhat can we offer you?
