Join Our Energetic Food & Beverage Team

Are you an experienced chef who thrives in lively settings? Would you enjoy working with a supportive, enthusiastic team to serve
tasty dishes and exceptional service to thousands of travellers each week?

LED is proud to manage catering at Exeter Airport, recognised for excellent food, attentive staff, and warm hospitality for both
passengers and employees. We’re seeking a dedicated Chef for our busy kitchen to help uphold our standards of culinary quality and
customer satisfaction. Please note: Shifts may begin as early as 2:30 am.

About the Role

As a Chef at Exeter Airport, you'll play a crucial role in smooth kitchen operations. You’ll prepare and present appetising meals,
assist with daily production across all outlets, and ensure high levels of food safety and consistency. Your skills will
contribute to a positive experience for every traveller passing through one of the South West’s busiest airports.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Cooking, crafting, and presenting dishes to the brand’s exacting standards.
* Overseeing stock rotation, storage, temperature checks, and reducing waste.
* Keeping the kitchen clean and equipment safely used at all times.
* Setting an example for kitchen and service staff.
* Supporting and nurturing a friendly, motivated team culture.
* Upholding all safety and hygiene rules.
* Suggesting fresh menu ideas and assisting with operational improvements.




We’re Looking For...

Essential:

* NVQ Level 2 or BTEC in Professional Cookery/Hospitality (or equivalent)
* Minimum one year’s experience in a fast-paced kitchen
* Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene and safe food handling practices
* Skilled in stock control and organising the kitchen
* Prepared to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings




Desirable:

* Level 2 Food Safety certificate
* First Aid at Work qualification
* Experience with menu planning and cost control
* Emerging leadership skills and eagerness for ongoing professional development
