Sales Administrator - Stourbridge

£12.71 per hour

Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm | 40 hours per week

Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join one of our established clients based in Stourbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in a fast-paced sales environment.

The Role

As a Sales Administrator, you will provide key administrative support to the sales team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service. The role involves managing sales documentation, processing orders and maintaining accurate customer records while supporting communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing sales orders, quotations and invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining and updating customer portals and records
  • Monitoring and responding to enquiries within shared mailboxes
  • Handling customer enquiries, complaints and follow-ups professionally
  • Raising and responding to queries via MS Teams channels
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Arranging despatches and processing customer sample requests
  • Processing warranty claims
  • Escalating any issues or delays to the Planning and Sales Administration Supervisor
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in sales administration, sales support or a similar administrative role
  • Experience processing orders, quotations and invoices
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales documentation
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 GCSEs grade C/4 or above
  • Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced sales or administrative environment
Desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service
  • Experience supporting a target-driven sales team
  • Experience within a similar industry
Working Hours & Breaks
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (non-variable)
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • 15-minute paid morning break
  • 10-minute paid afternoon break
