A welcoming secondary SEN department in Tower Hamlets is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with strong ASD experience and a background working in an SEN school or specialist provision.
Key duties:
- Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group SEN support
- Aiding engagement, communication, and independence
- Assisting with differentiation and access to learning
You must have:
- Strong SEN school experience (ASD essential)
- Confident communication and behaviour support skills
- A patient, proactive, and resilient approach
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
