Location: Brentwood, Essex
Contract: Full-time / Temporary

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and compassionate SEND Administrator to join our thriving secondary school in Brentwood. This is a key role within our SEND department, supporting the SENDCo and wider team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SENDCo and SEND team
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records, documentation and student files
· Coordinate and schedule meetings, including Annual Reviews and multi-agency appointments
· Support the creation and distribution of student passports, provision maps and reports
· Liaise professionally with parents, staff, external agencies and local authority teams
· Assist with data entry, tracking and reporting of SEND information
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and school policies
About You
Were looking for someone who is:
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
· An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
· Confident in using school systems, databases and Microsoft Office
· Calm, flexible and able to prioritise in a busy school environment
· Passionate about supporting young people and inclusive education
Previous experience in a school or SEND setting is desirable but not essential-training can be provided for the right candidate.
