The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils to develop strong scientific knowledge and enquiry skills
Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team
Supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes
Who This Role Is Suitable For
Qualified Science Teachers
ECTs seeking a supportive first teaching role
Teachers with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Practitioners committed to inclusive teaching and strong classroom practice
Teachers who enjoy working within collaborative departments
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Clear understanding of curriculum planning and assessment
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
