Job Title: Nursery Practitioner – Early Years (EY)
Location: Bridgetown, West Midlands – WV10
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible)

About the Role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join the team at The Old Station Nursery, Bridgetown (WV10). The successful candidate will support children in the Early Years (EY), helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and develop.
You will work closely with qualified nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
•
Support children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework
•
Assist with planning and delivering engaging play-based learning activities
•
Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
•
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
•
Observe and support children’s progress and development
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care
•
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
Requirements
•
Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent)
•
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
•
Genuine passion for working with young children
•
Good communication and teamwork skills
•
Understanding of the EYFS framework
•
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Desirable
•
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
•
Experience supporting children with additional needs
•
Knowledge of child development and early learning strategies
