FM Conway is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join our successful Term Maintenance division to work on a brand-new, high-profile project within our Developers team. As FM Conway’s Assistant Project Manager, you will be supporting the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects from concept to completion. This role places you at the forefront of project delivery, supported by an experienced team within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site in London.

The duties of the Assistant Project Manager role will include:

-Assisting the Project Manager with all aspects of scheme delivery. This includes from concept through to design and delivery including stakeholder engagement throughout

-Ensuring that the Project Manager and Client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract area of responsibility

-Supporting clients and internal departments from the pre- planning and pre-programming of works through to their completion

-Assisting in the overseeing of programme management of all schemes, including collaboration with internal departments key, to delivering the work

-Ensuring Health and Safety plans, method statements and risk assessments, are in place, ensuring that all sites have the appropriate documentation

What skills and experience do you need?

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager with experience supporting the delivery of Term Maintenance or highways contracts. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a client-facing environment and will demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to assist in resource planning, cost control, and stakeholder coordination to support effective project delivery. This role will involve travel to other company locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
