Crynodeb
1. To provide a high-quality evidence-based mental health and a specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy service to the children, young people and their and families attending Newham CAMHS. 2. As a member of the Emotional and Behavioural Team MDT, the postholder will ensure that interventions are undertaken on the principle of strong, collaborative partnership working between agencies. Post-holder will provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation, from a psychoanalytic perspective to other professionals, to assist in the formulation, diagnosis, management and treatment of clients. 3. To share with senior Child Psychotherapist colleagues in managing and developing the provision of Child Psychotherapy as an evidence-based resource within NCAMHS, working to ensure that, as a highly specialist provision, it is targeted to optimise outcomes for the children and young people for whom it is made available.
