Crynodeb
To communicate effectively, especially where patient ability to do so is compromised. Ability to disseminate contentious and delicate information appropriately To deliver safe care within a challenging and changing clinical day surgery environment. To adhere to all Trust policies and procedures and professional code of conduct. To input and retrieve patient and staff information from computer-based systems. Delivery of high quality care / services to patients Responsible for pre and post operative care for multiple patients from differing specialities including safely conducting nurse led discharges Assisting patients with activities of daily living including personal care and nutritional and dietary support Recording of observations and assessments of patients additional supportive tasks e.g. venepuncture and ECGs Undertaking activities which include the moving and handling of both patients and equipment. You may occasionally be asked to work across sites to cover short notice sickness or leave.
