We have an exciting opportunity for a GCSE Tutor to join Landau. This role offers the chance to support young people who may have faced challenging starts in life to gain qualifications, build confidence and progress towards positive futures.
You will deliver high-quality education programmes for learners aged 16–19 (up to 24 with EHCP), including those with SEND, supporting their progress, achievement and progression into employment, further learning or other positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality learning programmes that meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with EHCPs.
Support recruitment and induction, including assessments and taster sessions.
Deliver engaging sessions leading to qualifications including ASDAN Employability, PSD, Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level–Level 2) and GCSE.
Plan and adapt learning resources to meet differentiated learner needs.
Assess learner progress through diagnostics, reviews and individual learning plans to ensure achievement and progression.
Support learners with EHCPs and contribute to reviews with parents, carers and professionals.
Coordinate Learning Support Assistants to ensure effective support in sessions.
Prepare learners for external assessments and examinations, providing clear feedback and monitoring progress.
Contribute to internal verification and moderation and maintain accurate learner records and administration.
Deliver enrichment, tutorials and information, advice and guidance (IAG) to support personal development and progression.
Work with the Project Coordinator to arrange and support work placements.
Liaise with parents, carers and stakeholders to support learner engagement and progress.
Promote safeguarding, equality, British values and Prevent, providing appropriate pastoral support.
Participate in quality monitoring and continuous professional development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and represent Landau in a positive and professional manner.

This is a Term Time Only position working 39 weeks per year
