About the Role:We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive school community. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature, language, and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that challenge and motivate students.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Create an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Participate in wider school life, including meetings, enrichment activities, and CPD

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English.
  • Ability to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom‑management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
