Role overview
About us
At Podium, we power the sports betting industry with world-class data solutions, delivering accurate, real-time insights that
drive performance for bookmakers, media companies, and racing stakeholders. As part of PA Media Group, we’re trusted by the
industry’s biggest players to provide cutting-edge data solutions that enhance betting platforms and optimise decision-making.
Our values - Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation and Ambition - guide how we work together and support each other every day.
About the role
We’re looking for a passionate Racing Reporter to join our Racing team and produce first-class editorial and reporting for
international digital and newspaper customers. This role calls for outstanding knowledge of Irish racing and the ability to
deliver fast, accurate and engaging content every day.
You’ll attend race meetings across Ireland, gathering quotes and news from trainers and jockeys, collecting track and race data,
and providing accurate, timely updates from the course.
Away from the track, you’ll write editorial copy, live in-running comments and verdicts, while copy-checking and editing content
to ensure consistently high editorial standards.
Working closely with colleagues across Ireland and the UK, including our team in the Howden office, you’ll liaise with racecourse
officials on stewards’ enquiries, going changes and late developments. You’ll make sure final updates — including non-runners and
race changes — are reflected accurately in customer-facing copy.
This is a fast-moving role for someone who thrives under pressure, works well to daily deadlines, and delivers consistently
high-quality content in a live sporting environment.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us
know—we’re happy to support you.
